Kathleen Joan (Nugent) Thompson

Kathleen J. Thompson left this life Monday, August 5, 2024, and was reunited with her late husband, Jack Thompson. She was born in Chicago, IL, to the late Robert and Belinda (née Kennedy) Nugent.

She is survived by her children Daniel (Marianne) Thompson, Robert Thompson, and Carolyn (Zack Milkovich) Thompson; grandchildren Madeline, Luke, Elizabeth, Katie, and Annabelle Thompson; her brother Robert Nugent and many nieces and nephews.

Kathleen retired from United Airlines as a Flight Attendant and obtained her Master's degree from the University of Akron. A loyal friend and lover of animals, she was a longtime collector of antiques, a shrewd negotiator, and a kind person.

Kathleen's presence is already missed. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Matt. 5:4

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 9, 2024 at 1:00PM at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Road in Green, where the family will begin receiving friends at 12:30PM. Interment will be at a later date.
