Greencastle, PA - Kathleen "Katie" Jane (Orr) Robinson, 71, beloved wife of Ronald Keith Robinson, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021, at the Hershey Medical Center, in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Katie was born on March 16, 1949, in Akron, Ohio, the eighth of twelve children of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Aitken) Orr.

In addition to her husband of 47 years, Keith, Katie is survived by three children, Michele (Kerry) Robinson, Ron (Tawnya) Robinson and Chris (Jessica) Robinson; seven grandchildren, Dillon, Haley (T.J.) and Garret (Corynn) Langston, Scott and Sadie Robinson and CJ and Cecilia Robinson; and her much doted upon great-granddaughter, Rose Hollar.

After graduating from Garfield High School in Akron, Ohio, Katie had several careers in various industries, but no matter the job, she always took great pride in her work product. Upon retirement, Katie was able to devote more time to her passion for quilting which she enjoyed most when shared with her sisters and sister-in-law. In recent years, she discovered a new hobby of restoring antique featherweight sewing machines. However, anyone that really knew Katie, knows that her greatest joy in life was her family. Her infectious laugh and twinkling smile will be forever remembered and cherished by those that loved her most.

Calling hours will be on Saturday Feb. 6 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St., Akron, OH 44311) where funeral services will follow at Noon. Interment Marlboro Cemetery.
