Karin's sister Valerie shared the following memories about Karin:
· What three words describe Karin and why?
Karin was strong on the outside; sensitive, loving, caring on the inside. She was a fierce protector of those who she loved, standing up to anyone who she thought was mistreating a loved one.
· What were Karin's hobbies or interests?
Karin loved spending time with her family more than any other hobby. Her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephew were her pride and joy and she would rather spend time with them than anyone else.
Karin loved her 2 Akita dogs. Her first baby was Dillon, a huge male Akita who she raised to be a fierce protector, but a loveable big baby! Her second baby was Lexi, a slightly smaller female. Karin and Lexi at times competed over which women was ruling the roost; however, anyone who knew Karin, knew that Karin always won that battle!
· What was Karin's spiritual beliefs?
Karin had a quiet, deep, personal spiritual belief. Her cross around her neck, in which she never took off, meant more to her than any diamond, emerald, pearl, or other gemstone. Her cross made her feel peaceful and showed quietly her Christian Eastern Orthodox belief, and is the only piece of jewelry that she requested to be with her through eternity. "
