Julie Ann Rand

Julie Ann Rand, 66, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019 in Akron.
Julie Ann was born in Cleveland on September 13, 1952 to the late Henry and Julia Rand.  She graduated from Ursuline College in 1974 with a degree in Theatre and went on to work for many years at Playhouse Square in Cleveland.  She later earned a BSN from Cleveland State University, proudly beginning a second career as a pediatric nurse.  Julie was an avid doll collector and member of the Cleveland Doll Club.  She will be remembered most for her generous soul and willingness to help others.
Julie will be deeply missed by her brothers Michael (Tamara) and George (Julie); nephews William (Margaret), Charles (Julie), Douglas, Edward (Patricia), and Daniel; and great-nieces and nephews Beatrice, Eleanor, Nora, Theo, and Malcolm; and her many lifelong friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 29 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church, 5384 Wilson Mills Road, Highland Heights, OH  44143, where the family will receive friends beginning at 9:45 a.m.  Interment at All Saints Cemetery in Northfield.
