Julia Zdynak

Julia Zdynak beloved aunt, great aunt and friend passed away after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer disease. She has been a resident of the Gables of Green in Green, Ohio for the past 7 years, relocating to Ohio at the age of 90. She was a resident of Assisted Living for 5 years and then moved to Memory Care 2 years ago.
She was previously a resident of the metropolitan area of Washington, D.C./Northern Virginia for 72 years, moving there at the age of 18. She was born in Barnesboro, Pennsylvania on December 17, 1927 to the late Michael and Katie Zdynak. She was the youngest of 5 children born to Michael and Katie. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel and Stephen and two sisters, Theodosia and Anna.
She graduated from Barnesboro High school in 1945. She was a member of the National Honor Society. Prior to graduation, she was recruited by the Federal government to work in the fingerprint division of the FBI. This was the beginning of an extensive career in various departments within the Federal Government. She retired in 1988 at the age of 61.
She was a member of the Epiphany Byzantine Catholic Church in Annadale, VA. for her entire adult life where she actively served her Lord in a variety of ways through various committees and projects.
Julis leaves to mourn her passing, two nieces, Judy (Ned) Stallworth, Katherine Starkey and great niece, Clivette Stallworth, all of Green, nephews, Michael (Kathy) Suhoza of Avon Lake and David (Sally) Suhoza of Warrensville Heights.
The family would like to sincerely thank the Gables of Green and Traditions Health Hospice for their years of loving and tender care of our "Auntie Jul". Everyone was so caring and compassionate. You always went above and beyond and for this we will be forever grateful.
Per Julias wishes services have taken place. She was laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.
