Julia H. Pakurar, "Aunt Lou" as most knew her, 98 years old, passed away at her home on January 24, 2o24 with her family by her side.
Aunt Lou was an amazing woman! She was employed by Goodyear for 32 years as an engineer. She was the first woman to win an invention award.
In her early school years when she only spoke Hungarian, she discovered a love of Crayola crayons, which started her on a path towards becoming a talented artist. Many pieces of beautiful artwork hang in our homes.
She was preceded in death by her husband Earl, and niece Elaine. Survived by sisters Mary and Irene; nephew John (Jill); her little buddy Oscar; nieces Linda and Barb; along with other family and friends; and a huge thank you to Leanna.
Per her wishes, a private service and entombment has taken place at Greenlawn Cemetery. With her love of animals, donations may be made in her honor to the Humane Society of Summit County, 7996 Darrow Road, Twinsburg OH 44087,
