Julia (Hars) Gyetvai, 88, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014.
She was born in Hungary and was a member of Christ Reformed Church. She was also a member of the Hungarian-American Club and the Hungarian-American Culture Club. Mrs. Gyetvai was a seamstress for the former O'Neil's Department Store in Akron.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth (Safran) Hars. She is survived by her son, Steve Gyetvai; nephews, Steve and Janos Zambo both in Hungary; and great-niece, Krisztina.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Rev. Tamas Biro officiating. Entombment at Lakewood Cemetery.
