Julia Edl, 77, passed away Monday, August 3, 2026 at Pleasantview care center.
Julia was born January 22, 1949, in Germany to Ludwig and Theresa (Schmurk) Edl and has been an Akron resident since 1956. She was employed at Weaver workshops and had been a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
Julia was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ludwig and Theresa, stepmother Beatrice and sister Linda. She is survived by her siblings Marianne (Ed) Hogue, Theresa Edl and Louie Edl; nephews Nick (Katie) and Mike Hogue; great niece and nephew Kalie and Brodie Hogue.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 7, 2026, from 10 to 11 AM at the Anthony Funeral Home, 1990 S. Main St. Akron. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM and interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
