Judith D. Tharp

Judith D. Tharp, 68, passed away August 21, 2026 surrounded by her family.

Judy was born November 3, 1957 in Monessen, PA to the late Henry "Hank" and Edith Horner. She was a stay-at-home mom; Judy's greatest joy was her family-she loved her children and grandchildren. Judy attended Northampton United Methodist Church. She enjoyed baking and canning. Judy also loved camping, eventually building a log cabin alongside her husband, family, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her brother Henry H. Horner. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Kenneth; children Nathan (Alicia), Justin (Sheinna), Lisa (David) Hurdle; 13 grandchildren; brother Sam (Sharon) Horner; sister-in-law Kelly Horner; many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, August 25 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM and again from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Anthony & Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home - Stow Chapel, 3333 Kent Rd. Stow, OH 44224. There will be no formal funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center.
