Josephine Sciara

Josephine Sciara, 94, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019 in North Carolina.

She was born in Akron, Ohio on March 15, 1925.

Mrs. Sciara was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Thomas Sciara; and son, Thomas Joseph Sciara. She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary Thomson (Ron) of Green; sons, James Sciara (Kathy) of Tallahassee, Florida and Steve Sciara (Nancy) of Blowing Rock, North Carolina; grandchildren, Michael Thomson, Levi (Jessica) Sciara, Aubrey Sciara and Tanner Sciara; great-grandchild, James Leo Sciara; and brother, Joseph Cosentino (Jean) of Lawton, Oklahoma.

The family will receive friends Friday, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. Committal is private for the family. (Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, Akron)
