Josephine (Rahal) Moore

Josephine "Jo" Moore, 98, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
Jo was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She spent 33 years at Timken Company and 35 years volunteering at Mercy Hospital. She was a longtime member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church. Jo loved cooking and hosting friends and family.
Jo is survived by her husband of 57 years, Carl Moore; son Joe (Mona) Caley; grandchildren Bryan (Deanna) Caley, Sara (Patrick) Tillam, Donald Hahnenkratt; Mallory Degenhart and Nicholas Moore; seven great-grandchildren; nieces Lou Sarachene and Linda Babauta; and stepdaughters Kim (Ken) Schaelchlin and Shelly (Jon) Fortenbaugh.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 11AM at the St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church 3204 Ridgewood Rd, in Fairlawn, OH 44333 where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:30AM. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church's Icon Fund.
