Joseph Patrick Selle

Joseph Patrick Selle, 55, died unexpectedly Sunday, September 28, 2014.
Born in Akron and a life-long resident, Joe was employed by Acme for 39 years in addition to operating a successful lawn care business. He was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. Joe was a loving husband and devoted father whose goodwill and generosity were selflessly shared throughout his life.
Mr. Selle was preceded in death by his parents, William and Nancy Selle. He is survived by Mary Ellen, his wife of 30 years; sons, William (Ellen), Christopher, Nicholas & Thomas; grandson Adam; brother, Robert; sisters, Peggy, Teresa, and Elizabeth; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Oct. 2nd, from 3-8 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, 10:00 am at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Akron. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.
