Joseph Basil Scafido

Miramar Beach, FL -- Joseph B. Scafido, 64, passed away on June 17, 2017. Joseph "Joe" was born in Akron on August 18, 1953 to the late Joseph & Margaret Scafido. He was preceded in death by his sister Margaret "Peggy" Scafido. He attended St. Joseph's grade school. His joy was his family, friends and beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Dauphine. Joe is survived by his wife, Kerry (Allen) Scafido; sister, Lucille (Michael) Smith; brothers, Phillip (Lisa), and Michael Scafido; nephews, Matthew (Mandy) and Keith Smith; nieces, Sierra and Kylie Scafido; and great-niece, Harper Smith. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment of ashes will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls.
