Joseph Martin Mendiola

Joseph M. Mendiola, 51, passed away on May 30, 2023. Joe was born on May 9, 1972 in Bowling Green, OH to the late John & Elizabeth Mendiola. He was a 1990 graduate of St. Vincent - St. Mary High School and graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Joe is survived by his aunt, Sister Christine Mendiola, O.P., of Akron and cousin Nicholas Martin of Akron. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 10, 4 pm, at Our Lady of the Elms Chapel, 1230 W. Market St. in Akron, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior. The family is so grateful for the care and compassion Joe received during his three months at Akron City Hospital.
