Joseph A. "Joe" Karpinski, 80, passed away peacefully on August 24th after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Employed as a truck driver for most of his life, Joe was an avid outdoorsman and loved singing and playing his guitar. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lottie; son, Joey; sister Eleanor; father-in-law, Homer; brother-in-law, Alan; and faithful dog, T.J. His survivors include wife of 25 years, Theresa; daughters, JoAnn, Judy, and Kelly; brother, Richard; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Private services will be held by the immediate family. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. Special thanks to the the staff of Maison Aine and Crossroads Hospice.
