Joseph Hydeg

Joseph 'Joe Pa' Hydeg, 87, died August 17, 2013.
Joe was preceded in death by his infant daughter Sherrie Ann and sister Irene. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruth Ann; children Cindi (Joe) Pritt of Green, Joe (Virginia) Hydeg of Rittman; grandchildren Christie Pritt of Hoboken, NJ, Brian (Karrie) Pritt of Shanghai,China; and great-granchildren Alexander Joseph and Xavier Raymond Pritt; sisters Betty Davis and Katherine (James) Dunn.
He was an active member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church where he served as an usher, and the Catholic War Veterans of Barberton. He was a veteran of the United States Army during WWII.
Joe will be remembered in laughter, celebrated in memories, and cherished in the stories he left behind.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5 to 8 Pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 9:30 Am at the funeral home and will be followed at 10:00 by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 4019 Manchester Rd., Akron OH 44319.
