John D. Sabo

John D. Sabo, 80, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013.
He was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania and retired from Goodyear Aerospace after 40 years of service. Mr. Sabo was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church and was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by parents, Michael and Mary Sabo; wife, Anna; and grandson, John D. Sabo, II. He is survived by son, John M. Sabo; daughter, Michelle Sabo; sisters, Margie and Irene; granddaughter, Kerri (Billy) Palmer; and great-granddaughters, Alexis and Alisha Palmer.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church where John will lie in state one hour prior to service. Fr. Miron Kerul Kmec officiating. Interment at St. Michael Cemetery in Mogadore where Firestone VFW Post 3383 will also hold military honors. The family will receive friends TONIGHT, 5 to 7 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S.
