John Daniel Moskos

John D. Moskos, 92, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2021 at Akron City Hospital Hospice Care.
John was born July 13, 1928 to John and Katie (Danella) Moskos in Akron and had been an area resident his entire life. He was retired from Ohio Bell Telephone after 35 years. He was a member of the Green Kiwanis, Jednota Club Branch 553 and was involved in the Boy Scouts of America often volunteering at Camp Manatoc. He received the BSA Silver Beaver Award.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Rose (Simon); daughter Kathi Boresh of Venice FL and her son Nick (Erica) Boresh of Raleigh NC; son Mike (Claire) Moskos of Napa CA and their son Alec Moskos of Napa CA.
Private services will be held. Cremation has taken place. Donations may be made to the Jednota Club, 485 Morgan Ave., Akron OH 44311 or charity of your choice.
