John Kempel

John J. Kempel, of Northbrook, IL, died Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Highland Park Hospital, Highland Park, IL. He was born May 9, 1951, in Akron, OH, to Richard "Dick" and Margaret "Peg". Graduate, Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University; Financial Advisor, Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. He will be fondly remembered as an avid member of the Northbrook community, an amazing father to his two sons, and a lover of the Cleveland Browns, Northwestern Wildcats, and Chicago Blackhawks. Beloved husband of Joanne, nee Noesen; loving father of Joseph and John; dear brother of Margaret, William (Janet), Dennis (Pixie), and the late Michael; fond brother-in-law of many and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
