John Andrew Demko

John A. Demko, 79, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2024, after a long illness.

John was born December 11, 1944 to Andrew and Colletta (Wolf) Demko in Akron and spent his entire life in the Portage Lakes. He was a 1962 graduate of Archbishop Hoban High School, served in the National Guard and had been employed by Goodyear Aerospace for over 30 years, retiring in 1994.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his nephew Steven Porpora and he is survived by his sister Patricia Porpora, nephews Michael (Lori) and Mark Porpora and niece Ann Nikirk.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
