John Albert

John Albert, 82, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at the Hospice Care Center.

John was born April 3, 1942, to George and Mary (Nuspl) Albert in Csatalja, Hungary, came to America with his parents as a child and resided in the Akron area most of his life. He was a member of Ironworkers Local #17 and had been employed by Burger Iron for most of his career. He was and avid hunter and outdoors-man but most enjoyed spending time with his family on long hikes in nature.

John is survived by his wife and companion of 61 years, Judy (Cirullo); daughter Debbie (Chris) Engelhart, her children Amanda (Phil) Harris and Michael (Camille) Engelhart and grandchildren Madeline and Daphne Harris; daughter Theresa Derrick and her children Helena Albert and Dominic Derrick; and his beloved brother George (Debbie) Albert.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 9, 2024, from 4 to 6 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home, 1990 South Main St. Akron where a funeral a service will be held a 6:00pm.
