Joellen Rose (Hengstenberger) Hengstenberger

JoEllen Rose Hengstenberger, 70, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at her home.

JoEllen was born July 12, 1952 to Joseph and Rose (Konya) Hengstenberger in Bethlehem, Pa. and had been an Akron resident most of her life. She retired as an Administrative Assistant at the University of Akron and had previously been employed by General Tire and the Summit County Coroner's Office. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.

JoEllen is survived by her brothers Gary and Eric (Theresa) Hengstenberger; nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 5 to 7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home, 1990 S. Main St., Akron where a brief memorial service will be held at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Summit County ADM Board.
