Joanne Theodore

Joanne Theodore, 88, fell asleep in the Lord on Sunday, January 17, 2021.
She was born in Springfield, Ohio on May 12, 1932 to Allen and Mattie Dever. Joanne was a founding member of St. Thomas Eastern Orthodox Church, a member and past president of the Orthodox Christian Women's Association, a member of the Christian Orthodox Council of Akron and the Akron Dental Assistant Association. Joanne worked 30 years as a dental receptionist retiring in 2000 from Barsan Family Dental.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 52 years, Pierre in 2013; and brothers, Gerald, Floyd, Rusty, Bob and Bill. She is survived by sons, Michael (Cathi), John (Karen) and Peter; daughters, Rebecca and Debby Selle; grandchildren, Kelly Theodore, Tracy Farrar, Andrew Selle and Dominic, Anthony and Coleman Theodore; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the entire staff at The Inn at Coalridge for the love and care that they gave to our mother.
