Joanne Davis passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 15th and is now with her son Greg.

She leaves behind her husband Bob of 59 years; her son Pat(Mary); daughter in law Julie; grandchildren Derek, Marisa, Mitchell(Dalisha), Dominic, Joseph, Michael; great granddaughter Theresa; sister Janice(Roger); sister in laws Betty, Kathy, Lee; brother in laws Fran, Ronnie; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was pleased to meet her first great granddaughter Theresa.

She was preceded in death by her son Greg; mother Katherine; father Henry; mother in law Vera; father in law Kenneth; brothers Leonard, Henry(Bud); sister Elaine; sister in laws Kathy, Nancy; brother in law Jerry.

Joanne was born and spent the first 22 years of her life in Clymer, PA. She got married and moved to Stow to raise a family and spend the rest of her life.

During her life she was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a meticulous housekeeper. She made draperies for many years, had many part time jobs before retiring from Mactac, where she was the reports distributor and the glue that kept the company running.

She was a devoted Roman Catholic and a member of The Holy Family Parish in Stow. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her rosary group. She loved to take care of her flowers, doing crafts and baking with friends and family. Her smile and wink will be missed.

Calling hours will be on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd. At Rt. 91). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Silver Springs Cemetery.
