Joann Clapsaddle

JoAnn Clapsaddle, 82, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Pebble Creek Care Center.
JoAnn was born May 24, 1931 to Benjamin and Virginia Herbert in Akron and had been an area resident her entire life. She was employed by the city of Green as a Fire Department Secretary and a part time Zoning Inspector and had been a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Green Volunteer Fire Department.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, Ray in 2008 and is survived by her children, Mark (Jennie) Clapsaddle and Rae Ann (Richard) Straub; grandchildren, Angie (Asa) Town, Christopher Espenscheid, Andrew (Olivia) and Michael Clapsaddle, Candice (Travis) Young and Carley Straub; great-grandchildren, Connor, Alexander and Madison Young and Bridgette.

Visitation

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony and Son Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Road (corner of Steese and Massillon Roads in Green. Entrance is off Steese Rd). The family will receive friends Monday, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Green Fire Department.
