Joan L. Patterson, 89, of Akron passed  away on May 23.  Joan was born in Barberton,  the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Miller.  An Avon Lady for many years, she more recently worked at the Jednota Club for over 18 years as a club room hostess.

In 2020 she was preceded in death by her husband, Alan.  Her survivors include children, Sean Patterson, Steven (Sharon) Neunz, and Sharon (Ted) Dalton; sisters, Marilyn Boedicker, and Barbara Rumble; 5 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and10 great-great-grandchildren.  Her sister Anita Frazier and brothers, Don and Howard Miller preceded her in death.

Calling hours will be on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.) where funeral services will take place at 1:00. Entombment at Greenlawn Memorial Park will follow.
