Joan Louise Osborne

Joan Louise Osborne, 76, passed away April 26, 2026 at home.

Joan was born September 24, 1949 in Akron to Herbert and Pearl Kline nee Werne. She was an LPN and worked for Summa Health Systems until her retirement. Joan loved dogs, especially River. She also enjoyed being on her patio and observing wildlife by the creek.

In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Gary, and her brother Robert Kline. She is survived by her son Donovan (Kelly) Osborne; grandchildren Logan, Evan, and Emma Osborne; sister Rita Sabo; many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

A celebration of Joan's life will take place Thursday, May 7 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Anthony Funeral Home - Akron Chapel, 1990 S. Main Street. Please feel free to dress casually. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local animal shelter in Joan's memory.
