Jimmy Ray Morris

Jimmy Ray Morris, 78, passed away on September 6, 2026 peacefully at home.

Jimmy was born on September 19, 1947 to the late Arlene and Ray Morris and was a lifelong area resident. After graduating high school, he was drafted to the Army and served Korea during Vietnam. He married Mary Stacy in 1970 and they raised two beautiful children. Jimmy worked at Mohawk Tire and Rubber, General Tire and B.F. Goodrich. Jimmy also worked at First Flooring and Tile for many years. Jimmy loved the Cleveland Browns.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his sister Marjorie Haussenbuehler. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary; children Steven (Mellisa) Morris and Stacy (Scott) Futo; grandchildren Judith, Jade, James and Janey Smith; and great-granddaughter Whitney Scott.

Jimmy will be laid to rest with full military honors on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road in Rittman at 1:45PM. If attending, please arrive at the cemetery promptly at 1:30PM.
