Jerry Plaster, 76, of New Franklin, Ohio passed away April 12, 2024. He was born in Akron, Ohio on July 17, 1947. Preceeded in death by parents Clarence (Ed) and Betty Plaster. Sister Linda Lynn. Survived by sisters Nancy Schaeffer (Gary) and Lori Plaster. Daughters; Julie Fairchild and Missie Cook. Sons; Tim, RJ, Sam, and Jesse (Alexandria) Plaster. Eight grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several other family members and friends.

Jerry loved music and was a great musician of several instruments, but mostly played guitar while singing songs everyone enjoyed. He was a diehard fan of Ohio State Football, Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Guardians. He also enjoyed teaching. Whether it was how to play an instrument, plumbing, electrical, or coaching his children in softball, baseball and football, he loved to see his family succeed. He will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Advantage Hospice Company for their excellent care for Jerry during his final months and Dunn-Quigley for his care after death.

There will be a celebration of life on July 20, 2024. Details will be posted as they are still being arranged.
