Jerry Nelson

Jerry Nelson, 85, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016.
He was born in Akron, Ohio, retired from the Ford Motor Company after 35 years of service, and was a member of the Navy Reserves.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Grace (Holderbaum) Nelson; brothers, Robert and Kenneth; and sister, Rachel. He is survived by his sisters, Sandra Joyce of California and Ruth (Fred) Knight; other family members in both Ohio and California; and many friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, 1 to 2 p.m. at the Anthony and Son Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Rd. (at the roundabout, entrance off of Steese Rd.) Uniontown, Ohio 44685. Donations may be made to Hospice of Summa, 525 E. Market St. Akron, Ohio 44304.
