Jerry Lee Buckey

Jerry Lee Buckey, 69, died Tuesday, October 13, 2015 after a long illness.
Jerry was born in Akron to the late Earl & Peggy Buckey. He graduated from Garfield High School in '64, and lived in Akron, North Carolina and Florida. Jerry served in the US Army and was a warehouse supervisor for various companies. Jerry loved Motown, art, cars and most importantly his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother Danny. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 yrs, Linda nee Barbuto; children Jennifer (Marty) Teffner & Jason Buckey; grandchildren Justin, Samantha & Jordan Teffner; brother Jim; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 18 from 2-4PM at Clearview United Methodist Church, 1733 Massillon Rd, in Akron, 44312. A memorial service will be celebrated immediately following calling hours at 4:00PM, at the church.
