Jerry Anthony LaRocca

Jerry LaRocca, 84, passed away peacefully on January 31st.

Jerry was born in Akron Ohio to Frank and Mary LaRocca and was the oldest of 9 children. His extended family from siblings to great nieces and nephews total over 70 people.

Jerry was a 1959 graduate of St Mary's High School and earned a Marketing degree from the University of Akron in 1987.

He was an avid bicyclist with his wife Mary Ann. Not yet ready for an e-bike, they both pedaled 2,000 miles each year through 2024.

Jerry loved spending time with his family, his 3 yr old great grandson, amateur (Ham) radio, music, and fixing just about anything that needed a repair or refresh.

A veteran of the Army and National Guard, Jerry is survived by his wife of 63 years Mary Ann LaRocca, son, Mike (Michelle) LaRocca, daughter, Janice LaRocca, grandchildren, Nicole (Nick) Panno , and Gina (Keith) Lamprecht, and great grandson Nicholas Panno.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 2-4PM at the Anthony Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Road in Green, where a service will be held at 4PM. In lieu of flower, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society via https://www.cancer.org/.
