Jerome "Jerry" Harrigal, 80, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025 after a brief illness.
Jerry was born in Akron to the late Andrew and Mary Harrigal. He served in the US Navy during Vietnam, stationed stateside. He began his career at BF Goodrich. He went on to work as a mail carrier, and found enjoyment in serving the people of the Hudson area. Jerry had a keen interest in cars; he collected model cars and always had a brand new shiny one to drive. He loved Cleveland sports, especially the Browns and the Indians.
Jerry is survived by daughters Tamara (Michael) Harrigal-Blevins and Traci (Rob) Triplett; grandchildren Michael Mathieu, Madison (Tanner) Laczynski; great-grandsons Leo and Jude; siblings Dennis (Paulette) Harrigal and Judy Mason; and many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Jerry's longtime friend Paul Morabith for always being there for him over the years.
Cremation has taken place. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery will take place at a later date.
