Jeffrey Arthur Reid

Jeffrey A. Reid, 76, passed away July 18, 2018.
Born in Akron on May 28, 1942 to the late Bill & Betty Reid, Jeff was a lifetime Cuyahoga Falls resident and a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. He recently retired from Acme Fresh Market on State Rd., where he worked as a wine steward. Jeff was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Stow, where he sang in the choir and was past-president of the church council. He was a member of the FOPA, Elks, & Lions Club. His two main hobbies were fast cars and having the best lawn in the neighborhood.
In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his son Brian and his brother Ike. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Barbara (Uitto) of Cuyahoga Falls; son Stephen Vineyard; sisters Sandy Santos, Mary McCarthy, & Robert (Sue) Reid.
A memorial service will take place on Sunday, July 29, at 2:30 pm at St. Stephen Lutheran Church 3725 Kent Rd. Stow, OH 44224, where the family will receive friends prior to the service starting at 1pm.
