Jean C. (Burr) Weisman

Jean (Jeannie) C. Weisman, 77, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022 after a long illness.

Jean was born in Akron and was a lifelong area resident. She attended Buchtel High School and worked as a bank teller for over 20 years. Jean loved her friends and family, talking with them and telling stories.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Helen Burr; her husband Richard Weisman, married in 1964 and together 56 years; beloved son Richard C. (Richie) Weisman; brothers Loren & David; and niece Sabrina. She is survived by her brother Phillip Burr (Karen); niece Tabitha (Mike) Hedrick; many friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10AM Saturday, March 5 at Rose Hill Burial Park, 3653 W Market St in Akron. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA, (  https://www.aspca.org/)  or Akron Children's Hospital, (  https://www.akronchildrens.org/Giving.html)
