Jean Neidert

Jean "Grammy" Neidert, age 82, passed away June 14, 2017.  She was born in Akron and lived in the Akron area her whole life. She dedicated her life to her family and was a loving and loved wife, mom and grammy.  She loved collecting recipes, going out to eat and family gatherings. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, John Neidert; her parents, Arthur and Arna (Burt) Zimmerman; and brother, Harry Zimmerman. She is survived by son, John (Gena) Neidert; and daughters, Andrea (John MacAleese) Neidert, Sharon Neidert, Kelly (Tony Ritch) Neidert-Ritch; grandchildren, Sharlene MacAleese, Emily Reynolds and Julia and Jack Neidert. Cremation has taken place at her request. Graveside services are Monday, June 19, 2017 at 10:15 a.m. at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Wreaths for Western Reserve, P.O.
