Janet Marie Brichta

Janet Marie Brichta was born in Cleveland, OH on September 21, 1948 and passed away March 31, 2026 at the age of 77.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Selma nee Waitekunas and William Cadden, husband Richard, brother Thomas Cadden, and her dear grandson Peyton McCarthy. She is survived by daughter Nichole (Mike) Tople, sister Kathleen Simpson, and brother Patrick Cadden. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, Caitlin, Mackenzie, Kyle, Peyton (RIP) McCarthy, Lucy, Mack, and Michael (RIP) Tople.

Janet enjoyed travelling the world, including meeting Richard in Hawaii. When she was not skiing or travelling, Janet was a nurse and a devoted mother. Her favorites included: vanilla ice cream with mini chocolate chips, a cheeseburger from Big Boy, and a ride in a convertible with the wind in her hair on a drive to a beach so she could have the sun on her face.
