Jane L. Weiss, age 86, of Kent, passed away February 27th, 2015 at Akron City Hospital. Born May 17th, 1928 in Kent, to Charles and Grace Shorts, she had been a longtime area resident before moving to Sebastian, Florida. Her greatest joy was her many friendships in Kent and Sebastian, along with her family. She is survived by her sons, John of Kent, Tom of Madison, Larry of Fair View Park and Dan of Bay Village, eight grandchildren and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, late husband Norman, son Tim and long time friend and partner Robert Mosser. No calling hours or funeral will be observed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Hospice in memory of Jane Weiss.
