James C. Wease

James Wease, 72, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2024.
Jim was born in Akron and was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from South High School and was served in the US Navy during Vietnam as a firefighter. Jim started working at Central News for 20 years and at JoAnn's in Hudson for nearly 20 years before retiring. He was a member of the Cuyahoga Falls Moose Lodge. Because of his time in the Navy, Jim always had a passion for firefighting and amassed quite a collection of memorabilia over the years.
Jim was preceded in death by his mother and father Marcie & Charles Wolf; and brother David Wease. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years Kheire; sons Samuel Wease and Leon (Destiny) Lowden; daughter Nixi (Chuck) Swagger; sisters Melody and Vicki; brother Raymond Wease; and grandchildren John and Kheire Wease.
