James (Jim) Owen Hall, 72 (Amateur Radio N8SGP), passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022 after a long battle with diabetes and renal failure. Born on April 13, 1949 in Akron Ohio, Jim loved to bowl, golf and was an avid Cleveland sports fan and classic car enthusiast. He also enjoyed talking to the many friends he made over the years via amateur radio. Jim was raised in the Ellet area, but spent most of his life living in Cuyahoga Falls with his wife Kris. He retired from Bridgestone/Firestone where he worked for over 20 years. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Maxine Hall, and his son Jonathan Hall. He is survived by his wife Kristine Hall, daughter Michelle Murphy and son-in-law Kevin Murphy, sister-in-law Sandra Vance, niece Megan Vance (Kim Degiralomo), and nephew Jeffrey Vance. A private graveside service for immediate family has already taken place.
