James C. "Jimmy" Myers

James C. "Jimmy" Myers, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 31, 2018 surrounded by his family.
In death, Jimmy gave life to others through the gift of organ donation.
He leaves behind his loving & devoted wife of 56 years, Sandy; their sons David, Christopher, & Michael (Michelle); brother John (Sylvia); grandchildren Mallory & Chaz; and great-grandson Daniel.
Jimmy was a proud veteran of the US Coast Guard. He retired from the I.U.E.C. He spent several years as a volunteer for Indian Guides and served as a Chief Inspector for the Ohio Boxing Association.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 7 from 11AM until 2PM, at the Anthony Funeral Homes, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S Main St in Akron, where a memorial service will be celebrated at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home and will be donated to Jimmy's favorite charity.
