James Richard Mishler

James R. Mishler, 73, passed away on July 20, 2024.
James was born on August 17, 1950, to the late Paul and Sara Mishler. He was a graduate of Garfield Highschool class of 1968. He recently retired from the Gilchrist Polymer Center where he worked in the warehouse for many years. James was an avid landscaper and had a "green thumb" when it came to growing beautiful flowers and house plants. He was a cat lover, having several throughout his life.
In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by sister Susan Scichilone. He is survived by his significant other, Sharon Ryder; sister, Paula Sepelak, brothers David and Thomas Mishler, Children; Kelly Soemisch, Chris Mishler and Michelle VanNatten, 6 granddaughters and best friends Dale Stroup and Tom Almen.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday July 24, starting at 12:00 pm at the Anthony Funeral Anthony Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Road in Green (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads, entrance off Steese) where a service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM.
