James J. Docy

James J. Docy, 75, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015.
He was born in Akron and was a graduate of Green High School Class of 1959. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired from Cantex. James was an avid bingo player and enjoyed watching sports.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Margaret (Kridler); children, Melissa Hentosz, Russell Westfall and Jaiden and Caileb Docy; nephew and niece whom he helped to raise like his own, Thomas and Stacy Brouillette; granddaughter, Ashlee (Michael) Metko; great-grandson, Logan Michael Metko; siblings, Janet, John Alan (Linda), Gary (Cyndi) and Sara J. Docy; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Friday, 10 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. Interment at East Akron Cemetery.
