Jacqueline Lee Kesweder, 73, peacefully passed through the veil to the other side on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at her home.
Jacque was born and raised in California and moved to Akron in 1994 with her husband. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, attending the New Portage Branch and the Akron Ward. Jacque was an amazing seamstress, working from home to make all variety of clothing for people. She was a member of the American Sewing Guild and also taught sewing classes at Joann's.
Jacque was preceded in death by her parents Pedro Jose Galeano-Curd and Peggy Marie Abernathy; Grandmother Blanche Abernathy; brother Frank Barbaris; and grandson Ricky Rousey. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 47 years Vernon Kesweder; children David and Michelle Rousey; stepson Vernon Kesweder II; grandchildren Robert David Rousey Sr. and Savannah Rousey; and four great-grandchildren; and many other family members and loved ones.
The funeral service will be scheduled once the current public health crisis allows. After the funeral service, Jacque will be interned at the Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery.
