Jacob Daniel Ronca

Jacob Daniel Ronca, 21, passed away on June 22, 2013.
Born on Christmas day in 1991 to James and Kathy Ronca, Jacob lived a short but full life, brimming with love and happiness. We were blessed and proud to call this beautiful spirit our son. When he was little, Jacob wanted to be a superhero, and he truly was our hero. Jacob was always smiling and had a contagious laugh. We will love you forever, Jacob, and take comfort in knowing that your faith has placed you in the arms of Jesus.
Jacob was preceded in death by his grandmother, Beatrice Ronca. In addition to his parents, Jacob is survived by his sister, Sydney (Caleb); nephews, Jackson and Dominic; grandparents, Don and Norma Shaffer, and Frank Ronca; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family is especially grateful for the dedicated and insightful care Jacob received from Patti, Vicki, Michelle, Maria, and from the doctors and staff at Akron Children's Hospital Palliative Care and ICU.
The family will receive friends this Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home, GREEN CHAPEL, 4178 Massillon Rd (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads, entrance off of Steese). A celebration of Jacob's life will immediately follow, at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Barberton Magic Theater Company's K.I.D. Camp (www.magicaltheatre.org), or to the Fresh Air Camp (www.freshaircamp.org)
