Jack D. Havis

Jack D. Havis, 84, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Chapel Hill Community after a long illness.
Jack was born April 6, 1928 to Joseph and Florence Havis in Detroit, Michigan. Jack worked in the printing industry as a lithographer, manager and company representative, most recently for Rohrich Corp.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia in 2004, and is survived by his children, Chris (Jing Lauengco) Ferranti, Lisa (Frank) Whanger, Linda (Gary) Barello and Robin (Rick) Culbertson; grandchildren, Jeff, Jennifer, Matthew, Heather, Adam, Halle and Adriaen; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Ashlee, Allisyn and Page; siblings, Jim Havis, Alice Grace Bruns and Betty Cadieux.

Visitation

The family will receive friends Saturday, 3 to 5 p.m. st the Anthony and Son Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Road (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads, entrance off of Steese) and will be followed by a Memory Service at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Private interment at East Liberty Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church, 4700 S.
