Jack Bheam

Jack C. Bheam, 94, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Kentridge Senior Living.

Jack was born March 16, 1931, to David and Clara (Custer) Bheam in Johnstown, PA. and had been an Akron resident most of his life. He and Mary Lou Pagac were married in 1961 and she preceded him in death in 2014, he missed her dearly.

Jack originally moved to Akron as a bricklayer and then worked most of his life in sales. He owned a Stroll- o-Chair franchise and then worked for many years as a salesman and manager at M & M Toyota and Don Joseph car dealerships, and owned AAA Economy Tire Outlet for over 35 years, and ceased operations just a few years ago.

His passion was golf, and he regarded Turkeyfoot Golf Course as his home course, He was a member of the Greater Akron Senior Golf Assoc. and enjoyed a lifetime record of 8 (EIGHT!) holes-in-one.

Jack was most proud of his wife, children, and grandchildren and was looking forward to meeting hhis only great grandchild in just a few days. He loved to travel with his family and was proud of his many family vacations. One of his passions was storytelling and jokes and he prided himself on making others laugh.

Jack is survived by his children Bonnie (Mark) Williams, Kathy (John - dec.) Barnhart and John (Jack) Bheam; grandchildren Carli (Tiziano Celli) Williams and Rachel (Craig Fanto) Williams; great grandson Aurelio Celli and Sister- in - Law Sister Mary Kathleen Pagac , Sisters of Charity. In addition to his parents, wife and son-in-law, he was preceded in death by siblings Ruth, Bettie, Flo, Bud, Martha, Don and Lois.

A special thank you to those at Kentridge who got to know Jack, and gave him special care and friendship over the past year.

The family will receive friends Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 2 to 4 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Akron Chapel, 1990 S. Main St., Akron OH 44301. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 24, 2025 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
