Jac Alan Hartney

Jac A. Hartney, 88, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 2, 2022 surrounded by family.

Jac was born in Akron on April 17, 1934 to the late Martin Sr. and Lillian (Motz) Hartney and was a lifelong area resident. He served faithfully in the Army as a Private First Class and was a recipient Good Conduct Medal. Jac was selfless and loved by all.

In addition to his parents, Jac was preceded in death by his brothers Richard, Howard, Ralph, Gordon, and Martin; sister-in-law Mary; niece Mary Lou. He is survived by his brother David Sr.; immediate family David Jr., Kevin, Linda, Brenda, Angela, and many more dear nieces and nephews.
