Irwin R. Brown

Irwin R. (Bob) Brown, 81, passed away Monday, August 4, 2014.
He was the devoted husband of 55 years to Mary Ann; loving father of Sharon (John) Oliveti, Roberta (Jeff) Moore; proud grandfather of Angie and Joey Oliveti; brother of Brian (Grace) Brown (both deceased), John (Thelma) Brown (both deceased), Bruce Brown (Sue, deceased), Agnes (Mike) Jarachovic (both deceased), and Roger Brown (deceased).
Mr. Brown was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict, a GM/Terex (Hudson) retiree, and also a retiree of Haworth Inc. (Holland, Mich). He enjoyed the many friends he and Mary Ann made through their toy collecting.

Visitation

Funeral service will be held Friday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony and Son Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Road in Green (corner of Steese and Massillion Roads, entrance off of Steese Road). Private interment will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Akron, 245 Locust St., Akron, OH 44302.
