Irene Elizabeth Kapolka

Irene E. Kapolka, 77, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 at St. Luke Lutheran Community.
Irene was born February 4, 1940 to John and Karoline (Razau) Rehmann in Saybusch, Germany and came to the United States in 1952.
She was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church and she faithfully participated in Eucharistic Devotions since its inception at the parish. She was a faithful member and volunteered for many parish functions.
In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her sister Millie Hermann and granddaughter Jessica Nicole Smith. She is survived by her daughters Kimberly (Craig) Young, Lisa (Richard) Kinlow and Michele (Andrew) English; grandchildren Zach (Lauren) Young, Hannah (Justin) Candea, Elizabeth and Emily Smith and Drew and Abbey English; great grandchild Roman Candea; sisters Cil Rutledge and Margie English; many nieces and nephews.
Thank you to the caring nurses and staff St. Luke Lutheran Community and Crossroads Hospice Care.
The family will receive friends Wednesday 5 to 8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Green Chapel, 4178 Massillon Road (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads in Green, entrance of off Steese Road). A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 11:00 am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd., Uniontown, Ohio 44685. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
